These terms are the agreement between you and topo. By creating an account you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
One account per person. Do not create an account for someone else, or pretend to be someone you are not.
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Usernames are permanent. Choose one you are happy to keep.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us the limited permission needed to run the service — to store your content, and to show it to the people you have chosen to show it to. Nothing more: we do not use your content for advertising, and we do not license it to anyone else.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. Serious cases are reported to the appropriate authorities.
topo has no tolerance for abusive content or abusive users. You agree to these rules when you create an account.
topo connects you to real people, and we do not vet them. Use the same judgement you would anywhere else. Blocking and reporting are built in — please use them. We aim to review reports within 24 hours and remove content and accounts that break these rules, but we cannot promise a particular outcome.
Meeting someone in person is your decision and your risk.
Nearby shows you people who have Nearby switched on at the same time. It is off by default, turns itself off after three hours, and can be switched off at any time. Only turn it on when you are comfortable being discoverable.
topo is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, or free of errors. We may change or discontinue features. If we shut the service down we will give reasonable notice so you can get your data out.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. That removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, or if we are required to by law.
To the extent the law allows, topo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything arising from another user's conduct. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use topo after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have where you live.
