topo draws your network as a map — your connections, the people they know, and how everyone fits together. Visible at a glance instead of buried in a list.

Open anyone's profile and topo shows the connections you have in common, and the event where you met. It is the question a contacts app can never answer.
Host one or join with a code, and check in when you arrive. Afterwards topo shows the people who were there that you haven't added yet, ranked by mutual friends and shared interests — while you still remember the conversation.
At an event, see who is actually in the room and connect in one tap. Nearby is off until you turn it on, turns itself off after three hours, and only runs while you are using it.
Your contacts are hashed on your device and never uploaded. Your location is used only while Nearby is switched on. Your surname, date of birth, email and phone number are never shown to anyone.
topo is invite-only while it is new. If someone sent you an invite link, open it on your iPhone and it will take you to the right place.

It helps to include what you were doing, what happened instead, and roughly when. If it is a display problem, the build number at the bottom of Settings pins down exactly which version you are on.
In the app: Settings → Delete account. It takes effect immediately and removes your profile, connections, messages and the events you created. It cannot be undone.
No. Each address is hashed on your phone with SHA-256 and only the hashes are sent, to be compared against accounts that already exist. A hash cannot be turned back into an address. Nobody in your contacts is ever contacted, and the list is never stored.

Only while you switch it on, and it turns itself off after three hours. Other people with Nearby on see your first name, last initial and photo — your username stays hidden until you have both agreed to connect.
Use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. Sign-in takes your username, not your email address.
